Very high production:

MELISSA is a variety with very low dormancy providing a longer vegetation time than traditional varieties.
MELISSA has a very fast regrowth after each cut and Therefore allows a faster cutting pace.
MELISSA is very productive in summer/fall thanks to a very good dry resistance. This ability will be fully valued through irrigation.

Very good resistance to pests:

MELISSA is a variety tolerating Pzeudopeziza and providing a healthy fodder with an excellent feed value.
MELISSA is also tolerant to the pea aphid (trial results from France's National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment) and has a low sensitivity to lodging.
MELISSA is a variety adapted to any regions around the Mediterranean and to all countries that usually farm alfalfa with a dormancy between 8 and 9.
