Forage - Ready to use seed mixtures

M-SPRINT

Short-term mixture

M-Sprint is a forage catch crop (immature cereals).
This mixture produces early, abundant and balanced forage (energy and protein)!

Fonctionnal benefits

  • Production of abundant forage;
  • Forage balanced in terms of energy, protein and fiber;
  • Positive impact of the catch crop on subsequent crops.

Why sow M-Sprint catch crops?

Abundant, early forage production:

  • The varieties selected for this mix enable early forage production for harvesting between April and May.
  • This precociousness makes it possible to plant corn after harvest.

A catch crop composed of specific premium varieties:

Cérience has chosen to position premium varieties in this mix, such as OCEANE rough oats, CARBURE common vetch, NICKEL hairy vetch and ARKTA forage pea, for abundant spring production.

An energy/protein balanced blend rich in fiber:

Vetches and peas combined with oats provide a good energy/protein ratio for a large, rich forage.

A very good crop precedent:

  • M-SPRINT dries out less than Italian ryegrass.
  • It is therefore an excellent crop preceding thanks to the effect of legumes and the structuring power of oats.

A mixture suitable for methanization

The M-SPRINT multi-species mix can also be used for methanization, thanks to its high biomass production.
