Developed by Cérience, PIXIES is the new-generation herbicide adjuvant!
It introduces a new adjuvant substance to the spraying market: alkyl polyglucoside.
This innovative technology, derived from corn starch and coconut oil, delivers unrivalled efficacy in herbicide treatments.
Pixies combines 3 functions:The retention function: optimizes spray retention plus targeted weeds
By reducing the surface tension of the spray droplets, PIXIES optimizes the retention of the spray liquid on the plants:- Reduced rebound effect
- Reduced runoff and losses
Penetration function: accelerates herbicide penetration
By binding to the cuticle, alkyl polyglucoside molecules accelerate penetration into the leaf core:- More active ingredient in the plant
- Faster action
Wetting function: delays drying of drops on leaves
Thanks to its humectant properties, glycerine delays the drying of spray drops on leaves:- Reduced volatilization and evaporation of drops
- Longer contact time between spray liquid and leaves
