CARBURE
Common vetch
-
Common vetch is ideal for catch crops!
Fonctionnal benefits
- Early biomass production
- Very high production potential
- Good resistance to diseases including aphanomyces
The benefits in detail
-
Early biomass production:
- CARBURE produces biomass earlier than other common winter vetches.
- This early spring production makes it the ideal partner for a catch crop or early-cut meslin.
Very high production potential:
- At the time of its registration, CARBURE stood out for its production potential in forage and grain (122% and 136% respectively vs. controls).
- Its vigorous establishment and earliness ensure a high proportion of common vetch in fodder when grown as a mixture.
Good resistance to diseases including aphanomyces:
- CARBURE is an aphanomyces-resistant variety.
- It can therefore be grown on plots with PI (Infectious Potential) greater than 1 or introduced into a rotation that includes susceptible species (peas, lentils).
