HAY-KING is a high-performance forage sorghum with abundant production in summer.
Agronomic profile :
- Leafy hybrid with high tillering;
- Abundant forage production in summer: 10 to 15 t M.S/ha and 3 to 4 yields;
- Great flexibility of use: mowing/grazing.
Zootechnical profile :
- Excellent nutritional qualities :
- low in lignin (Hi-Gest® variety), HAY-KING has better fibre digestibility;
- rich in soluble sugars;
- low in cyanogenic carbohydrates (grazing from 60 cm high);
- Excellent palatability and feed intake;
- Excellent animal performance (in dairy cattle and mixed ration with 18% sorghum, HAY-KING improves daily milk production by 12% compared with the control).
