M-EP is a ready-to-use blend of 2 complementary legumes to be combined with cereals (triticale, oats, etc.) for harvesting as silage, hay or grain.

Benefits in detail

Agronomic advantages of the composition :
- enhances the value of low-potential plots ;
- produces a cover crop that suppresses weeds ;
- requires little nitrogen fertilization;
- less susceptible to disease thanks to the combination
- constitutes a good precedent thanks to legumes.
Nutritional advantages of the composition :
- increases and secures yield (8 to 12 t M.S/ha) ;
- improves feed values compared with pure cereals (+ UF and PDI);
- provides digestive fiber;
- enables better control of M.S levels at harvest.
Operation:
- M-EP can be harvested as silage or grain.
- For silage or wraps, M-EP + cereals can be harvested from the early flowering stage of legumes (early May) to the milky-doughy grain stage of cereals (June).
- For silage, aim for an M.S. content of 30 to 35%;
- For wrapping, aim for an M.S. rate of 45-55%.

Combination advice

For higher yields and better feed value, combine a rough oat with your M-EP mix.
