LESTRIS clearly stands out for its resistance to anthracnose and its very high production potential.
Ultra-resistant to disease:
- In the various variety trials carried out, LESTRIS broke new ground with its very high resistance to powdery mildew and anthracnose (scores of 7.3 and 7.7 respectively).
- Anthracnose is highly detrimental to the long-term survival of varieties, as this fungus causes lesions on the stems and petioles, followed by the death of the plant.
Ultra productive :
- LESTRIS has very high production potential: it is on the list of recommended varieties in Switzerland (2013-2014), where it has the highest yield rating (5.9).
A top performer in forage mixtures:
- Whether combined with ryegrass or perennial grasses, LESTRIS stands out for its very high persistence and performance in forage mixtures (scores of 5.3 and 5 respectively).
